Forse la definizione non \u00e8 quella pi\u00f9 appropriata non tanto per la derivazione aeronautica quanto perch\u00e9 nella sua sintesi non pu\u00f2 rendere l\u2019idea di quello che \u00e8 capace di fare la Peugeot 308, sia per gli aspetti dinamici che funzionali. Il tempo che ha passato tra le mie mani \u00e8 stato abbastanza lungo da includere due stagioni, inverno e primavera. Ci\u00f2 vuol dire che ho guidato la Peugeot 308 in tutte le condizioni meteo tipiche di quelle settimane. Freddo, pioggia, primi tepori primaverili. Ho visto il mare d\u2019inverno, quando la spiaggia ancora \u00e8 deserta ma il Sole \u00e8 caldo da poter stare in maniche di camicia, ho viaggiato in autostrada verso l\u2019Adriatico per guidare in pista la 208 GTi 30th, sono andato in Umbria per comprare l\u2019ultimo olio buono spremuto da olivi di \u201cscoglio\u201d, come dicono a Trevi dove si piccano d\u2019essere quelli della capitale mondiale dell\u2019olio.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Ho guidato tanto ed ho apprezzato tanto la 308. Scettico sin dalla 208 a proposito della nuova filosofia della plancia, quell\u2019iCockpit rivoluzionario che tanto piace a Parigi, qui con 308 mi sono ricreduto. Anche perch\u00e9 qui le dimensioni in gioco per il design della plancia e della strumentazione sono diverse, pi\u00f9 generose. La strumentazione \u201crespira\u201d meglio, c\u2019\u00e8 pi\u00f9 spazio, c\u2019\u00e8 uno stile diverso dell\u2019abitacolo. E\u2019 quello stile che oggi tutti definiscono \u201cminimal\u201d. Ieri era \u201cfrancescano\u201d, ove si intendeva la mancanza di fronzoli, di orpelli. A volte roba superflua, messa l\u00ec tanto per incantare. Poi ti accorgevi che avevi davanti una plancia barocca e che tutti quei pulsanti facevano solo confusione, utili per venderti un frigorifero, non una automobile. Con buona pace dell\u2019industria degli elettrodomestici e massimo rispetto per il Barocco.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Qui trovi tutto pur non essendoci nulla. Quello che serve compare quando serve tra i due strumenti circolari, di grandi dimensioni e, fatto divertente, cambiano di colore quando vuoi guidare sportivo e girano in senso contrario, ossia uno verso l\u2019altro, cos\u00ec quando sei al limite basta un\u2019occhio solo per accorgerti che stai rischiando la patente.<\/p>\n<p>In quei pochi centimetri quadri tra i due strumenti sono visualizzate tutte le informazioni utili e necessarie alla guida, compreso l\u2019avviso che stai arrivando troppo vicino alla vettura che ti precede. E se il solito pirla non ha intenzione di levarsi dalle palle\u2026 ecco il segnale acustico che t\u2019avvisa che lo stai \u201ccentrando\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Metto sullo scherzo e sul cazzeggio un aspetto fondamentale della guida, oggi che la densit\u00e0 del traffico \u00e8 altissima e che, invece del dovuto, il livello di concentrazione alla guida \u00e8 inversamente proporzionale a causa della maleducata usanza di giocare e telefonare con gli Android o le mele californiane. E\u2019 questa abitudine che pu\u00f2 creare la situazione critica dalla quale, forse, si esce proprio con l\u2019ultima chiamata del computer di bordo.
