occasione del Gran Premio di Monaco (domani a Montecarlo) la <strong>Twin&#8217;Run<\/strong>. Erede di una tradizione di grande spessore che ha celebrato sulle strade europee il DNA parigino.<\/p>\n<p>DNA mai dimenticato e mai sopito, neppure dalle crisi di mercato e della economia mondiale. Insomma, a Parigi &#8211; come a Maranello &#8211; nello sport ci hanno sempre creduto.<\/p>\n<p>Twin&#8217;Run \u00e8 la nipote di Renault 5 Turbo e della Clio V6. Chi le ha guidate (io s\u00ec) capisce subito di cosa stiamo scrivendo e cosa Renault abbia voluto dire con questa ultima concept.\u00a0 Un DNA pistaiolo\/stradale che dovrebbe indicare una nuova classe di compatte francesi.<\/p>\n<p>Un DNA che lascia intendere lo sviluppo di una nuova categoria di automobili, con motori s\u00ec performanti ma con varianti adatte ad una sua mission cittadina, per il contenimento delle emissioni e dei consumi, e che sar\u00e0 lanciata nei prossimi anni, a partire dal 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Twin&#8217;Run disegnata sotto la direzione di Axel Breun (capo delle concept car design di Renault) \u00e8 una vera automobile da corsa. E&#8217; sviluppata e costruita in collaborazione con la Tork Engineering \/ Poclain Vehicules, la firma francese per le realizzazioni di telai per le competizioni. Il telaio \u00e8 una combinazione di materiali compositi e struttura tubolare in acciaio. Il motore \u00e8 un &#8220;mid-engine&#8221; derivato dal progetto dei propulsori per la Megane Trophy, ossia montato in posizione centrale-longitudinale.<\/p>\n<p>Il motore per posizionamento strutturale e cilindrata \u00e8 la esatta re-interpretazione delle Renault 5 Turbo e della Clio V6, anch&#8217;esse distinte dalla produzione normale per le generose cilindrate ed il montaggio centrale.<\/p>\n<p>Si tratta di un V6, con angolo di 60 gradi, di 3.498 centimetri cubi capace di sviluppare la potenza di 320 cavalli a 6.800 giri per minuto con una coppia di 380 Newton metri a 4.850 giri\/min. Massimo regime a 7.500.<\/p>\n<p>Trasmissione alle ruote posteriori e cambio a sei marce sequenziale e differenziale a slittamento limitato. Peso di 950 Kg.<\/p>\n<p>La Twin&#8217;Run \u00e8 &#8216;compattissima&#8217;, solo tre metri e sessanta per uno e settanta, alta uno e quarantatre. Le differenze dimensionali con la 5 Turbo sono ridotte a pochi centimetri pi\u00f9 generosa la Clio V6, alla quale ruba quasi venti centimetri sulla lunghezza. Infatti seppur ambita la V6 non ha mai eguagliato la 5 Turbo proprio per le sue doti &#8216;autostradali&#8217; invece che corsaiole.
